When do I need to order to ship by Christmas 2024?

For any of our products, orders much be placed by December 13th to arrive in time for Christmas due to high volume at our third-party logistics fulfillment center. If you want to risk it, you can order up until December 16th.

How soon will I receive my order in the mail?

Notebooks and Workbooks take up to 2 business days to ship + shipping time (usually about 3-5 business days).

Shirts and hats are printed on-demand and ship separately from notebooks and workbooks. They take 2-7 business days to ship + shipping time. 

When will I know my order has shipped?

You will receive a confirmation email that your order has shipped.

How will my order be shipped?

Most shipments are sent via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail, depending on the weight of your package. Please double check your shipping address when placing an order online. We are not responsible for unreceived shipments if the customer listed the wrong address.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we only ship to US. Shipping internationally is expensive and we've found the product often gets lost as well. In lieu of that, we recommend that our international friends check out our Digital Edition of the Storyclock Workbook and our Digital Edition of the Storyboard Workbook (or the Digital Edition Pro-Kit for both).

I ordered a Digital Edition. How will I receive my digital download?

You can download your digital products from the thank you page after check-out or from a link in your order confirmation email.

Can I buy your products in bulk?

If you’re interested in buying piles of notebooks, workbooks, or stickies for retail, academic settings, or reasons we’ve yet to discover, we’d love to discuss your needs with you! Shoot us an email at hello@plotdevices.co.

Do you have an actual storefront?

No, we don’t. But we are based in Nashville, TN.

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

All sales are final and we are unable to receive returns at this point in time. We will most definitely replace items if they are damaged, though. If this is the case, please send an email to hello@plotdevices.co with a photo of your damaged goods along with your order number and we’ll take care of you as soon as possible.

I missed a promotion. Can you refund me the difference?

Nope. All promotions are for specific periods of time and we cannot honor any discounts after the promotional window is over.

What is Plot Devices™?

According to Google, a plot device is any technique in a narrative used to move the plot forward (Plot Device is also a short film Seth made awhile back). But we aim to make products that do that, too - tools to help you and/or your stories move forward.
