Will I receive my order in time for Christmas?

If you're in the US, be sure to order before the end of the day on December 14th to ensure your shipment arrives on time.

What is Plot Devices™?

According to Google, a plot device is any technique in a narrative used to move the plot forward (Plot Device is also a short film Seth made awhile back). But we aim to make products that do that, too - tools to help you and/or your stories move forward.

What is a Storyclock?

The Storyclock is a methodology that helps you turn your ideas into stories. Learn more about it here. We made Storyclock Notebook to help screenwriters (and other people, too) develop their stories.

Can I buy your products in bulk?

If you’re interested in buying piles of Storyclock Notebooks or Storyboard Notebooks for retail, academic settings, or reasons we’ve yet to discover, we’d love to discuss your needs with you! Shoot us an email at hello@plotdevices.co.

Do you have an actual storefront?

No, we don’t.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do. See our Shipping & Returns page for more information.

Do I have to pay any customs and duties import charges?

You might, if you live outside of the US. We are not responsible for customs and duties charges. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the package. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges.

How will I receive my digital download?

You can download your digital products from the thank you page after check-out or from a link in your order confirmation email.

How soon will I receive my order in the mail?

It takes about 3-5 business days for US orders and up to 3 weeks for international orders. Read more about shipping here.

When will I know my order has shipped?

You will receive a confirmation email that your order has shipped.

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

At this point in time, all sales are final and we aren’t able to accept returns, unless you received damaged product. Read more about shipping and returns here.

I missed a promotion. Can you refund me the difference?

Nope. All promotions are for specific periods of time and we cannot honor any discounts after the promotional window is over.

Who are you people?
